In this article we are going to talk about creating an authority blog, or planet style site that gets TONS of traffic. The simple truth is that regardless of the other sound and noise signifying nothing in the online marketing for millions space, the EASIEST, most elegant and expeditious path to proven profits is building an authority site. Why? It’s quite obvious: The more YOUR site is looked at as a premier place to come for great information, links, resources and tools for your industry, the better off you are going to do with both human and machine visitors alike. Search engines and searchers themselves BOTH gobble up authority sites with an insatiable appetite, and they are also TONS of fun to build. Let’s look at few simple ways to do it below:
Be a Genuine Authority
Yes, you NEED really good content to be considered an authority. But I look at this as a positive, because MOST of your competition will scrimp on this step, regurgitating articles, and aggregating content rather than creating TRULY valuable resources that benefit your visitors. Write tons of articles for OFFSITE submission (with good incoming links and text), Press Releases, and do some link bait style content creation and you’ll be WELL ahead of the game.

is a great browser for creating and KILLER, white hat articles that link to other great resources on the web, use other tools that let you cull, clip and collect creative bits of content from all over the web so that YOUR site is the primary place to go as a jumping off point for those interested in your industry. RSS feeds, auto updating multi media channels and more are GREAT for this as well.
Get Super Social, Baby!
Going forward, this is where ALL of the super affiliate sites are going to need to go. Setting up profiles with ALL of hte primary players in the social networking space is going to be very important and critical to YOUR success. Use blog comments, purposeful, serendipitous (and sneaky!) link baiting strategies and MORE. All very easy to do, and tons of fun to boot!
